Saswati Das is an engineer by profession, a poet by heart and a radical by spirit. She believes that change is possible through spreading of awareness and correct information. She thinks a scientific thinking and analytical mind is needed to be developed amongst today’s children to fight against all forms of dogmatism and religious fundamentalism that is building in India. With that perspective, she patronizes the efforts of Sohojiya Foundation to promote scientific thinking among the children of today to herald a better tomorrow.  She already funded quite a bit of Sohojia's science exploration project.
