Sohojia Foundation is a non-profit organization working in the rural areas of West Bengal, India.  At Sohojia Foundation we believe that everyone in every corner of our great land should receive the fruits of development, no matter how rural, remote or difficult areas they live in.  Our goal is to uplift the basic elements of living like health, knowledge and education, as well as remove obstacles like social discrimination and superstitions, among the population in these lands.  Our passion is to enable them to avail these important aspects of life to have easy (Sohoj) living in otherwise difficult lands.  

Currently Sohojia Foundation is based on two places in Bankura (Barshi) and Purulia (Bandwan) districts.  We are supporting hundreds of kids in their journey to better education and health with a strong focus on development of scientific thinking.  

The Sohojia Foundation is supported by wonderful philanthropic patrons and members.  Their financial and other help keep the foundation growing towards a better future where we will be able to do a lot more for the people of these regions.
